My wife Barbara and I walked into Faith Covenant Church in the fall of 1979. The small congregation was worshipping in Peterson Hall (our present fellowship hall) because our present sanctuary wasn’t built until 1987. We were attracted to the Covenant Church’s theology focused on the authority of Scripture, the necessity of the new birth and the centrality of a believers’ church, filled by the Spirit. And to the two important questions: “Where is it written?” and “How goes your walk?”

We have experienced all these things and grown in our faith over the past 40 years and now enjoy attending church with our two daughters and their families (5 grandchildren!). I am currently the executive director of the Wheaton Academy Foundation. I love to read, play golf, and spend time with our children and grandchildren. If you are up for a round of golf sometime, just let me know!
